ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Rio Rancho Rams were big winners Tuesday as they came from behind to beat the Cibola Cougars.

This is a team that right now sits in third place in District 1-6A. They are two games back of Volcano Vista with four games left to play, but they face the Hawks twice.

Scoring runs for the Rams is not a problem. They can hit the long ball.

"We have 13 kids on our roster that have hit home runs this year, and we have more home run than we ever had," head coach Paul Kohman said. "It's not just a few 10 to 15 years ago that we had five to seven, or even nine home runs in a year. That was a big deal."
