Hawker Vanguard

He started his journalism career at KOB 4 in 2008 as an intern during his junior and senior year of high school. He learned from veteran anchors and reporters like Tom Joles and Jeremy Jojola. 

Prior to KOB, Hawker helped run the newspaper at Sandia High School. During his time at The Sandian, Hawker had the opportunity to be part of the White House Press Pool when President Obama visited Albuquerque. 

When he’s not reporting or producing a newscast, you might find him remodeling part of his house or behind his camera, capturing snapshots from around our state.
