First TV Appearance: In 2004. It was my freshman year in college. I started anchoring campus news.

Other TV jobs/markets/stations: Before joining KOB I spent 2 years as a reporter for KPTV in Portland, Ore. I started my career at KTSM in El Paso. In the 4 years, I spent there I worked my way up from a reporter to the morning anchor.  In college, I interned at FOX News Channel in New York City and KSFR radio in Santa Fe.

Favorite News Story: People always ask me this question and I honestly don’t have an answer. I’ve covered so many it’s too hard to choose just one.

Most Memorable Interview: While working in Portland I interviewed an 82-year-old man who tackled a burglary suspect in his backyard. He was such a character.

Why I'm A Journalist: I love meeting people, learning new things and covering news that matters in the community.

Favorite thing about New Mexico: It’s my home state! I’d have to say the food, people and scenery.

Dream Job: I would love to host a travel show, and get paid to explore different countries all over the world.

Alma Mater: Emerson College.
