548 personnel are working to extinguish it, according to the latest update from officials on Friday.

The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad started running once again on Friday with diesel service after being out-of-commission for most of June.

Railroad staff said they hope to resume traditional steam train service to Silverton starting July 4.
