CORONA, N.M. - When you set foot in Roswell in southern New Mexico, there's one thing that stands out – aliens.

Whether they're small, big, green or pink, it's one of the things tourists expect. The other thing on their minds is visiting the legendary 1947 UFO crash site.

Lauren Bogle, chief operating officer for for L.A.M.B., said there are different sites where people think the fabled crash happened.

"The entire Roswell incident is based off of this original site, "she said. "And so this is where it all went down."

She's referring to the land that once belonged to Mack Brazel.

"Our family bought the ranch whenever the Brazel family sold it back in 1952," Bogle said.

She said her family did not buy it because of the alleged crash, but for agricultural opportunities.

Now, after 71 years of the site being closed to the public, Lauren and her two sisters, Madison and Abby, convinced their family to open the area to crash site tours during the upcoming 2018 UFO Festival in – where else? – Roswell.

They will be offering VIP and general admission tickets. VIP tickets are $250 and include a meal, exclusive tour of Brazel's ranch house and attendants will be dropped off directly at the site.

Those with general admission tickets, costing $65, will have a bus ride that will drop them off two to three miles away from the site, with attendees expected to walk the rest of the distance.

Ticket holders are advised to wear long, loose pants and boots as a safety measure against possible wildlife at the ranch.

The Bogle sisters also plan on having other attractions such as spotlight movies, metal detectors, food vendors and interactive activities.

The tours will be offered from July 5-9. Ticket holders will be picked up at the Roswell Mall located on 4501 N. Main Street.
