Police say 22-year-old Lyric Young of Bullhead City, Arizona was killed in the crash.

A preliminary investigation shows that Young was driving east on I-40 Saturday about 10:30 p.m. when for unknown reasons he rear-ended a truck that was pulling a flatbed trailer.

Young was pronounced dead on the scene and the 63-year-old driver of the truck was uninjured.

Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash, however, it does not appear that seatbelts were used properly.

The crash remains under investigation.
