Park agents ask for public's help in identifying poachers

LOS ALAMOS, N.M.—US Park Rangers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the people responsible for illegally killing a mule deer in the park in early December.

It happened in Bandelier National Monument near milepost 55 on Highway 4 between noon Dec. 7 and 7:15 a.m. Dec. 8.

Anyone with information on the killing is asked to call the Bandelier Crime Tip Line at 505-709-0077.

Officials are offering up to $3,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible.
