Bear runs across busy street in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, N.M. - U.S. Fish and Game officials captured a bear that was seen running through traffic in Santa Fe Wednesday.

Wildlife officials say the bear was darted and sedated just off Cerrillos Road inside city limits.

It will be released to the Valles Caldera National Preserve on Thursday.

Wildlife officials say the bear is probably around 5 years old and weighs 180 pounds.
