SANTA FE, N.M. -- It's been a long time coming, but the Santa Fe bike tunnel is finally complete.

The Cerrillos underpass links the Railyard Park to the New Mexico School for the Deaf and provides a much safer route for pedestrians and cyclists to get across Saint Francis Drive.

The underpass has been talked about for years and saw a delay in construction last year due to weather. The new tunnel is almost 150 feet long and was partially funded by a federal grant.
