Emailed bomb threats made to police departments, businesses across New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Businesses and police departments across New Mexico have reported receiving bomb threats.

The threats were made via email to the Albuquerque Police Department's Southeast Area Command, the Hyatt in downtown Albuquerque, Artesia General Hospital and several other locations. 

The Santa Fe Police Department said it responded to multiple threats at several different locations. It said the threats appear to be part of a nationwide coordinated effort are a hoax. 

The FBI said it's aware of the threats and has been in contact with various local authorities.

The origin of the threat is still being investigated.
