Police say the first shooting happened around 8 p.m. Friday. Officers say a man shot at a house and car. No one was hurt.

Police say they know who the shooter is, but he still has not been caught.

“We don’t know if he was under the influence of alcohol or something else, but his behavior was quite odd,” said Carlsbad Police Detective Andrew Carver.

Police also responded to a shooting Sunday morning, at a baseball park on Maple St.

“[A] couple of people decided to drive by, some attitudes, hand gestures were given and it escalated to people driving by, firing shots into the crowd,” Carver said.

A 17-year-old girl was hit in the leg.

Jonathan Estrada, 21, and a teenage boy were arrested and charged with child endangerment.
