Detention officer assisted in escape of 3 eastern New Mexico jail inmates, deputies say

CLOVIS, N.M. – Deputies in Curry County say three inmates of a local jail were assisted in their escape by a detention officer working at that same jail.

Aaron Clark, Victor Apodaca and Ricky Sena are still at large after they escaped from the Curry County Detention Center sometime Friday morning, but deputies arrested Sarina Dodson early Saturday morning on charges of assisting escape.

Officials say Dodson was found by Texas deputies in Lubbock.

Anyone with information as to the escapees' location is urged to call the Curry County Sheriff's Office at (575)769-2335. Anonymous tips can also be called into Curry County Crime Stoppers at (575)763-7000.
