Dion's brings back round croutons

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Dion's is bringing back the round croutons in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

Dion's loyalist may remember the crotons, which were a staple on salads in the late 80s. 

In addition to the round croutons, Dion's is revamping its salad menu. Restaurants will now serve salads with three new lettuce blends, including iceberg/romaine, spinach/romaine, and kale/romaine. Dion's is also adding a southwest chicken salad.

“Customers have been asking for upgrades, and we listened," said Dion's CEO Mark Herman.
