ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Businesses owners in Durango are encouraging people to shop local for the holidays.
John Agnew, who owns Boarding Haus, said his business took a hit while firefighters battled the 416 Fire during the summer.
However, he said things have picked up.
“It seems to have rebounded and people are in town and everybody is excited about the snow," Agnew said.
In an attempt to get people to shop local, businesses partnered to offer deals during Noel Night, which took place Dec. 7.
