Durango's annual Pumpkin Drop-off goes to benefit local farmers

DURANGO, Colo. - The City of Durango is giving residents something to do with their pumpkins when fall is over, turn them into livestock feed.

The city's annual Pumpkin Drop-off will take place on Friday, November 2 through Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Residents can drop off the gourds at two locations:

  • La Plata County Fairgrounds - 2500 Main Ave., Durango, CO 81301
  • City of Durango Three Springs Police Substation - 545 Wilson Gulch Drive, Durango, CO 81301

 Local farmers can also register to receive the gourds here
