Forgery charges against Four Corners woman dropped

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Prosecutors dismissed all criminal charges against a woman accused of embezzling more than $26,000 from her grandmother.

KOB learned Tuesday evening the charges against Cassie Davis were dropped without prejudice. She had faced one count of embezzlement and six counts of forgery.

Meg Hilling in KOB's Farmington bureau reached out to Davis Tuesday but Davis did not comment.
