A judge ordered that the four-week trial start on February 25.

Appearing in court today, Redwine donned an orange jumpsuit and did not speak as his public defenders expressed doubt to the court as to whether they would be ready for the trial by that time.

According to our partners at the Durango Herald, Redwine's defense has filed more than 100 motions in the case. The motions will be heard during a two-week-long hearing starting December 3.

Redwine is accused of killing his son Dylan during a court-ordered visit in November 2012. An indictment shows Dylan's blood was found in Redwine's living room, washing machine, the bed of his pickup, and the clothes Mark Redwine had been wearing on the night Dylan disappeared.

Redwine faces 16 to 48 years in prison. He has pleaded not guilty.
