62-year-old Gary Gregor is facing more than a dozen sex abuse charges including multiple counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and kidnapping.

Gregor is accused of raping and molesting two fourth-graders while working at Fairview Elementary School in Espanola back in 2007 and is also a suspect in three other criminal cases.

He worked at schools in Santa Fe and Rio Arriba counties between 2001 and 2008 and has been accused of touching children inappropriately in both districts.

According to our partners at the Santa Fe New Mexican, Gregor was accused of inappropriate contact with students in Utah and Montana before coming to work in New Mexico and residents in Santa Fe and Espanola had been raising red flags for years about his behavior.

Attorney General Hector Balderas’ office decided to pursue criminal charges against Gregor in 2017.
