ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced during a Friday press conference that the MVD is scheduled to reopen on June 1.

She stated that the MVD will be appointment only-- for services that are not available online.

The governor said employees will be wearing face coverings. She said customers should also wear a face covering to their appointments. 

The governor also said staff will disinfect vehicles for driving tests and VIN inspections.
