It happened Saturday around 6:30 a.m. on State Road 18 between Hobbs and Lovington. Police say a 2003 Toyota Avalon was traveling north when it left the road and rolled.

20-year-old Sierra Don Colvin of Hobbs was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash but it does appear seatbelts were not “properly utilized.”

The crash remains under investigation.
