Clovis man sentenced to 20 years for domestic violence shooting

CLOVIS, N.M. - A Clovis man has been sentenced to 20 years behind bars for a domestic violence shooting.

A Curry County judge handed down the sentence Wednesday to Joshua Martinez.

Martinez was found guilty of aggravated battery on a household member with a deadly weapon.

Police say he shot a woman in the head last June. That woman survived.
