ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Las Vegas Police Department is seeking a new chief after, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican, Jerry Delgado stepped down from his post.

He had held the position for fewer than two weeks.

While Delgado didn't provide a reason for his resignation, some in the community are pointing to a Facebook post alleging he molested a woman when she was younger.
