Forest officials say the monsoonal moisture has reduced the fire danger level to moderate.

The recent rainfall, lower temperatures, and increased humidity have greatly improved fuel moistures, according to forest officials. They say that makes it safe for the public to have attended campfires again.

However, forest officials are reminding people that campfires should be completely extinguished before leaving the campsite.
