DURANGO, Colo. – The man accused of killing his teen son in 2012 pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and child abuse in Colorado Friday morning.

Mark Redwine was arrested last summer and is the prime suspect in the investigation surrounding his son's death.

Elaine Hall, the mother of Dylan Redwine, said outside the courtroom that she wasn't surprised.

"He's maintained his innocence all along and I didn't expect that to change," she said, adding that she's been grateful for all the community support.

Redwine's trial is expected to begin Nov. 26 and last four weeks. He will remain behind bars for now, but can be released if his $750,000 is paid.
