SANTA FE, N.M. - A man wanted for shooting at officers in two separate events has been captured. The Rio Arriba Sheriff's Office posted the "captured" poster on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon.
Police say 32-year-old Johnny Black of Pojoaque, fired shots at a State Police officer on June 25 in Española and a Rio Arriba County Deputy one week prior.
Black's capture comes one day after Crime Stoppers offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction. However, it's still not clear if a tip sent into Crime Stoppers is what lead police to Black. The Rio Arriba Sheriff's Office has not disclosed details about Black's arrest.
