Man arrested for allegedly opening fire on girlfriend's motorcycle Web Staff

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – A southern New Mexico man landed behind bars for allegedly shooting at his girlfriend's motorcycle, according to the Las Cruces Sun-News.


David Spilsbury was arrested earlier this month on multiple charges, the Sun-News report states, including battery against a household member and aggravated assault.

Investigators said Spilsbury and his girlfriend had been fighting when he allegedly fired two shots at her motorcycle. They also said the woman had bite and scratch marks on her body.

Spilsbury remains behind bars on a $2,000 bond.
