New Mexico man found guilty of shooting woman in the head

CLOVIS, N.M.- A man accused of shooting a female in the head has been found guilty of multiple charges.

Clovis Police say Joshua Martinez, 34, shot the woman in June 2017 and then left the scene.

He was arrested a short time later.

The woman underwent surgery and for gunshot wounds and other injuries, from which she eventually recovered. 

Martinez could face up to 21-and-a-half years in prison.
