ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Santa Fe man once acquitted of driving drunk and killing four teens is behind bars once again.

According to the Santa Fe New Mexico, Scott Owens was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and lacking proof of insurance. Police say he was also driving without an ignition interlock that he is required to have in his car.

Owens was just released from a nearly five-month-long sentence after he violated the terms of his probation last October for a 2016 DWI charge. In that incident, Owens led police in Durango on a high-speed pursuit while illegally drunk.

Officers said his pickup had fake plates and no interlock device.
