Downtown Durango has been dealing with smoke in the morning, but it’s been mostly clearing out by midday.

Business owners, who depend on summer tourism, say restaurants, rafting, golfing and other attractions will continue to serve customers, as long as it’s safe to do so.

“If I was to look at it, I’d have concerns but I wouldn’t cancel my trip at all,” said Tad Brown of Fire Up Pizza.
