ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Commercial contractor Mick Rich tells KOB he will make another run for the Senate in the upcoming 2020 election.

The Republican ran unopposed in the 2018 primary, but lost to incumbent Democrat Martin Heinrich.

Besides Rich, meteorologist Mark Ronchetti, anti-abortion activist Elisa Martinez, shooting range owner Louie Sanchez and college professor Gavin Clarkson  are running for the Republican nomination.

U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Lujan is up against accountant Andrew Perkins for the Democratic nomination.

The winner of the general election will replace Tom Udall.
