More than 600 migrants apprehended in southern New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- More than 600 migrants were apprehended in New Mexico Tuesday morning.

Agents encountered a group of about 400 migrants in Sunland Park after midnight.

A group 230 people were taken into custody around 2 a.m. near the Antelope Wells Port of Entry.

Border Patrol agents said the groups consisted of mostly Central American families and unaccompanied juveniles.
