ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The mother is pleading with the public to help find the person who killed her 26-year-old daughter.

“I just don't know who would want to do this to my daughter,” said LaDonna Overturff.

Carlie Overturff’s body was found on Dark Canyon Road in Carlsbad in September.

"I'm beyond hurt, you know? It's nothing worse than somebody dumping your child out like that, like she was nobody on a dirt road,” Ladonna said.

No suspects have been identified.

However, the Eddy County sheriff said he won’t rest until Carlie’s killer is found.

“We know you're out there, and we are going to get to you and we are going to get you prosecuted successfully,” Sheriff Mark Cage said. “It's just a matter of time."
