Navajo Nation to end weekend curfew, lockdown

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The Navajo Nation will end its 57-hour weekend curfew and lockdown this weekend.

The lockdown was put in place to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

The Navajo Nation has reported 5,533 COVID-19 cases and 248 deaths.

While the weekend curfew and lockdown will end, the 7-day nightly curfew will continue. The curfew is from 8 p.m. - 5 a.m.
