PORTALES, N.M. -  Family and friends of 20-year-old Dylan Nutter want justice.

He was killed on July 19 in Portales, but nobody has been arrested.

“It hurts really bad,” the mother of Dylan’s son, Angelina Bice, said. “It’s still processing.”

Bice said it’s a big loss for everyone she knows, but it’s an even bigger loss for her 2-year-old son, Eric.

“It’s just been really hard knowing my son doesn’t have a dad anymore, and that he won’t be around,” Bice said.

Police have not said if any suspects have been identified. Angelina said not knowing who killed her son’s father is frustrating.

“It’s ridiculous. It kind of makes me mad that no one will speak up because I know somebody knows something,” she said.

Bice hopes someone will do the right thing and go to the police.

“I just feel like we need to find whoever it is,” she said.

The Roosevelt County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
