KOB 4 Investigate's Jen French looked into the questionable spending by now former executive director of the Regional Coalition of LANL Communities Andrea Romero.

A review of expenditures shows Romero spent $1,850 for dinner at a pricey restaurant in Washington D.C., $380 of which was spent on alcohol.

Johnson says the independent audit will show if there were any violations of the law and indeed misuse of public money.

The coalition is an agency made of nine cities, counties and pueblos surrounding Los Alamos Lab in northern New Mexico.
