New pipeline to link Permian Basin to Corpus Christi

FARMINGTON, N.M. – Construction has begun on a pipeline project that will stretch from the Permian Basin in southeast New Mexico and west Texas to Corpus Christi.

According to the Farmington Daily Times, the Texas oil company Epic is heading up the project, with a goal of linking oil refineries across Texas.

The Permian Basin is expected to produce about 440,000 barrels per day, the Daily Times reported.
