ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Police say they’ve received numerous reports of mailbox break-ins in Roswell recently, from criminal damages to theft.

Unfortunately, Diamond Soto, just found out her mailbox was broken into on Tuesday.

She said had no clue two days passed before she finally realized.

"I haven't been notified from the post office, and I just find it disturbing they haven't contacted us, and told us our mailbox is broken into,” Soto said.

At least 25 “old community mailboxes” in Roswell, have reportedly been broken into over the past couple weeks.

The most recent break-in was on Sunday near Bent Tree Road.

Some neighbors say they find it strange, while others are worried.

According to Roswell police, no suspects have been found yet.

They’re assisting postal services with the investigation, and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
