ROSWELL, N.M. – Four people were reportedly shot following a fight during a house party. Out of the four who were shot, three of them had non-life threatening injuries.

“I didn’t know whether to run out the door or, to lay down on the ground. My dogs are frantic. My husband is in the shower, frantic.  My kids are in the back, frantic. We don’t know where the bullets are coming from.”

A neighbor, who did not want to be shown on camera, recalls the shots she heard outside her house yesterday. She’s lived in the neighborhood for 15 years now and, is sick of it.

“There’s been nothing but drama, killings, robberies,” she said.

Roswell Police responded to a call shortly after 2 a.m. of shots fired on the 1300 West block of College Blvd.

“The one that had more serious wounds from being shot in the chest --He is hospitalized, but in stable condition today,” said Todd Wildermuth, the PIO for the Roswell Police Department

So far, one arrest has been made in relation to the shootings.

“Mr. Isaac Raye Chaves Jr. was arrested Sunday afternoon, and he remains in jail today,” said Wildermuth.

The Roswell Police Department is currently investigating the case.
