Police seek two drivers who hit pedestrian in Las Cruces

DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. - Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of two drivers suspected of hitting a pedestrian.

Police say the crash happened around 5 p.m Friday on the 1400 block of El Paseo Road. 

According to officers, a 67-year-old man was crossing the road there when he was hit by three vehicles that were all traveling north. Only one of the vehicles stayed at the scene.

The victim suffered multiple injuries but is expected to survive.

Investigators say a white SUV and a light-colored Ford F-150 were the other vehicles that struck the man, but the drivers did not stop to help.

The vehicles may both be damaged from the collision.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips may also be submitted through the P3 TIPS app.
