SANTA FE, N.M. - Santa Fe is bracing for the possibility of another storm Tuesday night. A flash flood warning is in effect until midnight.

It's the last thing many homeowners want to see again.

Patrick Sena says his home was destroyed by Monday night's the record rainfall.

“I was completely blown away by how fast and furious it came,” Sena said. “We had one storm like this previously before, but this one was worse.”

An emergency shelter was opened at the Genoveva Chavez Center in partnership with American Red Cross for people displaced by the flooding.

On Tuesday, road crews spent the day cleaning debris from the streets and public areas. The city also handed out sandbags.

City officials are asking residents to call 505-955-6949 to report any damage to public infrastructure, questions about resources, help with found pets and general information.
