Thursday, a Nissan SUV collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck at Main and Tierra Berrenda.

A 68-year-old grandmother and her two teenaged grandchildren were in the SUV.

The grandmother died and the teenagers were taken to the hospital after being extracted from the vehicle.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.

A witness said the crash was the fourth he's seen at the intersection in the past 16 months.
