Fire officials say both fires were caused by explosions, the first one occurring shortly before 4 p.m. on Aaron Y Veronica Road at an adobe home that soon engulfed in flames. The second fire occurred not 20 minutes later, according to fire officials, along Gun Barrel Road.

No injuries were reported in either fire, and both are being investigated. Officials say stocked guns and ammunition may have led to the fires.
