Santa Fe Police investigate fifth homicide in 2018

SANTA FE, N.M. - Santa Fe Police have identified a man who died after being shot in the leg Wednesday night.

It happened near Airport Road and Lucia Lane around 9 p.m.

Police say 64-year-old Richard Milan was bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound to the leg when they arrived. Officers attempted to render aid and Milan was immediately transported to the hospital where he later died.

Police have not released any information on a suspect or whether anyone has been taken into custody.
