SFPD arrests teen in September murder

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Santa Fe Police have arrested a teen connected to the September murder of a Michigan man in New Mexico's capital city.

Richard Milan was visiting Santa Fe from Kalamazoo, Michigan when police say they believe 17-year-old Zachary Gutierrez shot him near Lucia Lane and Airport Road.

Authorities have not provided a supposed motive for Gutierrez, but did say he was already in jail on unrelated charges when they connected him to the shooting.
