Southern New Mexico to see new border wall soon...but not Trump's border wall

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A project to replace about 20 miles' worth of border wall in New Mexico is expected to break ground in May.

The replacement work will happen near Santa Teresa between Las Cruces and Sunland Park. Congress set aside $1.6 billion for border wall construction this year.

That figure is much less than the $25 billion the president was hoping for.
