Powell and Gage will be booked into the Rio Arriba County Detention Center. They are facing three counts of first degree murder, among other charges.

At this point, NMSP isn’t identifying the three victims or saying how they were killed.

State police say they found the bodies inside a house, near Dixon, on State Road 580 around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Lena Sandoval lives down the street. Sher said she noticed a lot of activity at the house with cars constantly coming and going.

"It's awful you know to hear three murders," said a neighbor, Lena Sandoval.

Bruce Gonzales, who also lives nearby, said he knew the people who lived there.

"This is the first time ever it’s happened here in all my life I’ve been living here," he said. "I was in shock.

The office of the medical investigator will determine how the three people were killed.
