The Town of Taos has been under water restrictions since Thursday when a well pump failed. Town officials now say work will begin tomorrow to update two old wells with modern equipment.

They hope to have both wells online Friday, but the water emergency will continue through Sunday while the system is flushed and reserves are filled.
