Unclaimed remains of 8 military veterans to be interred

SANTA FE, N.M. - A Forgotten Heroes Funeral was held Thursday to honor eight military veterans who lost their lives and remains were unclaimed.
The remains will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery will full military honors in accordance with the state's Forgotten Heroes Burial Program.
The program was established by the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services along with Bernalillo County to make sure no veteran will be alone at the end.
