The Colorado Department of Transportation says heavy rains in the high-country led to flooding and more than four-feet of debris covering the highway. The affected areas are between mileposts 88 and 90, about two miles south of Ouray.

Crews have started the cleanup process but officials say they are expecting more rain today as crews continue their work to clear the road.
