LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Vandals have targeted the Vietnam War Memorial Park in Las Cruces.

Las Cruces Police say it appears four letters have been removed from the memorial and a window of a mounted Huey helicopter was shattered.

The cost of the damages has yet to be determined.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads police to the person or people responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-8477 or tips can be submitted through the Crime Stoppers app “P3 TIPS.”
